Shelby County Schools has launched its 2015-16 instructional application and is accepting biology, chemistry, physics, middle school science teacher applications for the 2015-16 school year. Interested applicants should apply by the Early Application Deadline on February 13, 2015.

Our Compensation & Benefits
Teacher salaries start at $42,200. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered that includes health, dental, vision, and flexible spending account options.

Minimum Qualifications
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree
• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Meet ONE of the following requirements:
o Be licensed and Highly Qualified by NCLB guidelines OR
o Be eligible to work on a transitional license (i.e. hold a degree/24 credit hours in the subject area or pass the Praxis II exam in the subject area)
