As you may already know, we've joined forces with Mississippi State University to launch the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program, a joint effort to bring the top performing students to education.

Applications for the program just went live!
Created with nearly $13 million in private funding, we're offering full scholarships for 10 math and 10 English education students at Ole Miss and at MSU for the next five years. All graduates of this program will make a five-year commitment to teach in Mississippi.

Apply Now: Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program
The Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program (METP) has opened applications for its first class online.
Recipients of METP scholarships will receive full tuition, room and board, a tablet computer, and funding for professional development and study abroad for up to four years. Graduates of the program make a five-year commitment to teach in a Mississippi public school after graduation.
Competitive applicants are expected to have an ACT composite score of 28 or a SAT score of 1250 and a high school GPA of at least 3.5. For more information visit the METP website.
