The Center for Excellence in Literacy Instruction (CELI) works with national, regional, state, and local partners to build family, educator, and community capacity to nurture children’s language, literacy, and executive function development.

Center for Mathematics and Science Education

The Center for Mathematics and Science works to improve mathematics and science education in Mississippi by fostering interaction between academic and K-12 communities, support the implementation of research-based methods in the classroom, and promote interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Graduate Center for the Study of Early Learning

Our team of researchers and pre-K specialists provide collaborative leadership and research-based information concerning child development, education, policy decisions, and more for stakeholders in early childhood education across Mississippi and beyond. We believe that all children have the right to learn and grow in an environment that supports a natural ability to explore, create and wonder.

Mississippi Geographic Alliance

We want to increase geographic literacy through high-quality geography educational services for civic leaders, policymakers, the general public, and K-12 students and educators.

National Center for School-University Partnership

The National Center for School-University Partnership is an expanding professional community consisting of district-university partnerships from across the nation. The community aims to provide support for local education agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) in their utilization of continuous improvement methodologies to foster the growth of leaders and educators. Additionally, the community is focused on addressing persistent issues that confront districts, schools, and their respective communities. The community facilitates discussions surrounding common dilemmas, shares successful strategies, and engages in role-alike conversations, improvement reviews, and collective problem-solving and planning through the application of improvement science.
