Transforming education in Mississippi and beyond.

A Legacy of Leading & Learning

Since its founding in 1903, the University of Mississippi School of Education has graduated tens of thousands of classroom teachers, counselors, educational leaders, higher education professionals, and education advocates. More than 35,000 active alumni make a difference in the lives of others across Mississippi and beyond.

Our strength and success as a School of Education is credited to our alumni who actively impact, innovate, and inspire the field of education.  We encourage our alumni and friends to learn more about the current happenings at the SOE, celebrating the success of fellow alumni, and getting involved with our students, faculty, and staff.

Recognizing Change-Makers

Each year, the School of Education celebrates a select number of alumni and friends who have made significant contributions to education in Mississippi and beyond.
